Reef Electrical LLC (“Reef Electrical,” “we,” “us” or “our”) is a family owned electrical contractor serving Palm Beach County and Broward County, Florida. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect through this website, how we use it, and the choices you have.
Information you give us
When you fill out our service request form, we collect the information you choose to provide:
- Your name
- Your phone number
- Your email address, if you provide it
- The service you need, your city and county
- How urgent the request is and how you prefer to be contacted
- Your message
We also record the language of the page you used, the page you sent the request from, and the date and time of the request.
When you call or text us, we receive your phone number and whatever information you share with us during the conversation.
Information collected automatically
Server logs. Our website is hosted on Google Firebase Hosting. Like most web hosts, it automatically records technical information when you visit, such as your IP address, browser type, device type, the pages you request and the time of the request. This information is used to deliver the site, keep it secure and troubleshoot problems.
Browser storage. If you choose Palm Beach or Broward on our site, your browser remembers that choice so we can show you the right phone number next time. This preference is stored on your device only. It is not sent to us, and you can clear it at any time through your browser settings.
Cookies and analytics. We do not currently use advertising cookies or third party advertising trackers. If we add analytics or advertising tools in the future, we will update this policy.
How we use your information
We use the information we collect to:
- Respond to your request and contact you about it
- Schedule and provide electrical services
- Keep records of service requests and work performed
- Protect our website and our customers from spam, fraud and abuse
- Improve our website and our services
- Comply with legal, tax and accounting obligations
We do not sell your personal information. We do not share it with anyone for their own marketing.
Phone calls and text messages
When you submit a request with your phone number, you agree that Reef Electrical may call you or send you text messages about that request, using the contact method you choose. Message and data rates may apply. You can ask us to stop texting you at any time by replying STOP or by telling us.
How your information is stored
Service requests submitted through our website are stored in Google Cloud Firestore, part of Google Firebase, a service operated by Google LLC. Access to stored requests is limited to authorized people at Reef Electrical who sign in with verified accounts. We use reasonable safeguards to protect your information, but no method of transmission or storage is completely secure.
When we share information
We share personal information only:
- With service providers that help us run our website and business, such as Google Firebase, who may process it only to provide their services to us
- When required by law, court order or legal process
- To protect the rights, property or safety of our customers, our business or others
- With your permission
- As part of a sale, merger or transfer of our business, in which case this policy continues to apply to the information transferred
How long we keep information
We keep service request information for as long as needed to respond to you, provide service, keep business records and meet our legal, tax and accounting obligations. After that, we delete it or remove the details that identify you.
Your choices
You can contact us to:
- Ask what personal information we hold about you
- Correct information that is wrong
- Ask us to delete your information, unless we need to keep it for legal or business record keeping reasons
- Stop receiving text messages from us
We will respond within a reasonable time.
Children
This website is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
Security incidents
If a breach of security affects your personal information, we will notify you as required by Florida law, including Section 501.171 of the Florida Statutes.

Our website may link to other websites, such as utilities or map services. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those sites. Please review their policies.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will change the “last updated” date on this page. Changes take effect when posted.
